DLB Insurance & Risk can assist NSW Builders with the HBC Insurance Requirements through their partnership with Insurance House who are an authorised distributor of HBC Insurance via ICare. By law this insurance must be taken on a job specific basis for all Residential Building work over $20,000. The insurance protects Home Owners in the event of non-completion of the project or faulty workmanship if the builder dies, disappears or becomes insolvent.
If you are a Builder or Tradesperson we can assist you with obtaining eligibility under the scheme and administering the Insurance for work that you undertake.
Contract Works & Legal Liability
Providing cover for Property Damage against events such as fire, theft, storm, malicious & accidental damage whilst a project is under construction. Cover provided for Third Party Liability for bodily injury or property damage arising out of your negligence.
